At 7H Trip, we understand that travel plans can change. Our refund policy is designed to be fair and transparent. Please read these terms carefully before booking.

Standard Cancellation Timeline

The above timeline applies to standard tour packages. Custom and private tours may have different cancellation terms as specified in your booking confirmation.


Important: The "days before departure" calculation is based on the first day of your tour, not the date of your flight.

Refund Processing

Processing Time:

Once your cancellation request is approved, refunds will be processed within:

  • Credit/debit card payments: 7-14 business days
  • Bank transfers: 5-10 business days
  • PayPal: 3-5 business days
  • WeChat Pay/Alipay: 1-3 business days

  • Refund Method:

    Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used for booking. We cannot issue refunds to a different account or payment method.


    Currency:

    Refunds will be issued in the same currency as the original payment. Exchange rate differences are not covered.

    Non-Refundable Items

    The following items are generally non-refundable:


  • Visa application fees (regardless of approval status)
  • Travel insurance premiums
  • Flight tickets booked through third-party providers
  • Entrance fees for attractions that have been pre-purchased
  • Custom-made items (special costumes, personalized gifts)
  • Same-day cancellations for any service

  • Please check your booking confirmation for specific non-refundable items.

    Special Circumstances

    Force Majeure:

    In cases of natural disasters, government travel restrictions, pandemics, or other events beyond our control that prevent travel, we will offer:

  • Full refund of all paid amounts, OR
  • Credit voucher valid for 24 months, OR
  • Rescheduling to alternative dates at no extra charge

  • Medical Emergencies:

    If you or an immediate family member experiences a serious medical emergency that prevents travel, please contact us immediately. We may offer a partial refund or credit voucher upon receipt of official medical documentation.


    Visa Denial:

    If your Chinese visa application is denied despite following all requirements, we will refund 80% of your tour cost (excluding visa fees and any non-refundable items already incurred).

    Cancellation by 7H Trip

    In the rare event that 7H Trip must cancel your tour due to:

  • Insufficient group size (for group tours)
  • Natural disasters or safety concerns
  • Government restrictions or travel advisories
  • Unforeseen operational issues

  • We will provide:

  • **Full refund** of all payments made, OR
  • **Alternative tour dates** at the same price, OR
  • **Credit voucher** for the full amount valid for 24 months

  • We will notify you as soon as possible and provide at least 14 days' notice when feasible.

    Modification Policy

    Date Changes:

  • Changes made 30+ days before departure: Free of charge (subject to availability)
  • Changes made 15-29 days before departure: $50 USD change fee per person
  • Changes made less than 15 days before departure: $100 USD change fee per person

  • Itinerary Changes:

    Minor itinerary changes (e.g., hotel upgrades, activity additions) can usually be accommodated. Significant changes may require rebooking.


    Participant Changes:

    Adding or removing participants from a booking may affect pricing. Please contact us for specific cases.

    How to Request a Refund

    To request a cancellation and refund:

    2. **Provide your booking reference number** and reason for cancellation

    3. **Submit supporting documentation** if applicable (medical certificates, etc.)

    4. **Receive confirmation** of your cancellation request within 24 hours

    5. **Refund processing** begins after confirmation

    Travel Insurance Recommendation

    We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance before your trip. Good travel insurance should cover:


  • Trip cancellation and interruption
  • Medical emergencies and evacuation
  • Baggage loss and delay
  • Flight delays and cancellations
  • Personal liability

  • Travel insurance can protect you from financial losses that our refund policy may not cover. Please purchase insurance at the time of booking for maximum coverage.
